I like music a lot. And throughout my posts you will notice that every month I post a "___(Month here)___'s Music" And so that's a way for me to share what music I've been listening to.
So why this pg.? Great question! This page is for me to discuss music and share my all-time fav. songs and artists. Brilliant! I know:)
So one thing that is a struggle is artists. I like maybe one, two, or possibly 3 of their songs and that's it. So it's kind of hard to say who my favorite artists are. But I do have a few favorites:
If you asked me what person has a nostalgic, almost comfortably nostalgic voice to me, I'd say Bryan Adams. I used to love the Dreamworks movie Spirit. And Bryan Adams does a ton of songs for it. Once I grew up I found out he did a bunch of cool songs in the 80s. So yeah.
Here's some of my favorite songs by him:
Heaven
(If this link doesn't work, don't worry. I've gotten a new link for it at least 6 times, I'll catch it soon)
You Can't Take Me
[Everything I Do] I Do It For You
2) Lewis Capaldi
I really enjoy Lewis Capaldi's voice and style of music. I think my singing style has been influenced by his a bit.
Someone You Loved
I love so many Imagine Dragons songs. They are a very skilled band that write amazing songs.
Natural
Demons
Radioactive
Enemy (Radio Edit)
And now for some SINGLE FAV. WONDERS! (I don't know what that means but I'm copyrighting it)
The Legend Of Ashitaka by Joe Hisaishi
I would've put this down in the soundtrack section, but the majority of the soundtrack is different variations of this song (typically referred to as The Mononoke Hime). I would still recommend the rest of the soundtrack though. I have to change this link a lot too.
Somebody That I Used To Know by Gotye
Vienna by Billy Joel
Girls Like You (Clean/No Rap) by Maroon 5
Down Under by Men At Work
Sign Of The Times by Harry Styles
Take What You Want by Post Malone ft. Ozzy Ozbourne & Travis Scott
Complicated by Avril Lavigne
Save Your Tears by The Weeknd
All Out Of Love by Air Supply
Total Eclipse Of The Heart by Bonnie Tyler
LASTLY, NOW FOR THE SOUNDTRACKS!:
(I had to do this a little different, so I put the soundtrack artwork with a YouTube link under it that will take you to a full playlist)
How To Train Your Dragon by John Powell
Castle In The Sky by Joe Hisaishi
(Due to some serious copyright issues, not much music from Studio Ghibli films are available on YouTube, this playlist doesn't have the version of the soundtrack that I own and listen to. So tracks like Confessions in the Moonlight and Destruction of Laputa aren't the same. But The Girl Who Fell From The Sky is the same and comes highly recommended)
Top Gun by Various Artists (Main Theme by Harold Faltermeyer)
If ya'll haven't seen ya some Top Gun. . .
It's time to see ya some Top Gun.
It is THEE movie of the 80s (I mean, one of 'em). And it's Kenny Loggins ("You have Kenny Loggins in jail?!" -Shawn in Psych) and Harold Faltermeyer. The creators of Footloose and Axel F. Come on. At least listen to Danger Zone and Take My Breath Away.
(Please check with a parent before seeing) But man it's Top Gun.
Inuyasha by Kaoru Wada
That's a playlist, but if you don't want to dig through the seasons worth of soundtracks, I recommend this hour long-ish run-through of the popular themes (it's actually only 40-ish minutes because it repeats halfway through) I've put below. But this soundtrack comes highly recommended for everyone! (unlike the anime itself sadly)
Soul Of Wind Inuyasha Soundtrack Collection
Also! The Inuyasha Wind Symphonic collection is stunning so I recommend that as well!
LASTLY! Links!:
Not those Links, Playlist Links!
I have a couple playlists that are unlisted so you will need my links to them. These are my personal playlists if you're interested in seeing my life long collection of music. If there's a song you like, write it down, because stuff goes on and off my playlists like it's nobody's business. As I like to say, I go through music like I go through men!
