Frosty (I mean Bob) the Snowman

    Bob is a member of my family that only comes around during the winter. He refuses to come inside, and doesn't move when I'm looking at him. He slowly shrinks in size until he vanishes all together! I don't know where he lives the rest of the year, but he always comes back.
Was that too elaborate?

I make a snowman every year and name him Bob. Here's his latest incarnation:

20-20 Vision

I do not have 20-20 vision. And I hate it. 'Cause I like to be "that cool person." The one in a few people who's got this or that. I don't have 20-20 vision. But I do have 20-20 hearing.

I know what you're thinking, and yes, I am a lunatic. But ever since I realized I have great hearing, I've started boasting that I have 20-20 hearing. Most people laugh, some are punks and say, "That's not a thing!" And I honestly don't care what they think. 'Cause I know I'm ridiculously hilarious.

The point of all this is:
IT'S 2020!!!!!!!

So I figured I'd talk about something that has to do with 2020, such as my hearing. . .

I believe a wrap-up of this past year is in order, and yes I know it's February and most bloggers have already done this, but I do have a life thank you. So now I'm going to talk about the wonderful things that came from my 2019.

Let Her Go  by Passenger

A very sweet song with a calming melody. I heard it on the show Heartland. It is sadly very not in my range, so please don't ever ask me to sing it. Hearts will break, so will glass. . .

The Legend of Ashitaka  by Joe Hisiashi

It comes from a stunning soundtrack of the movie Princess Mononoke. I wouldn't recommend the movie due to violence, gore, some language, and strong supernatural elements; but it was an amazing story with powerful characters and life lessons. And the music. . . It was more than worth the $10 on Itunes (Since you can't really get it anywhere else except Amazon).

Lagos  by Michiru Oshima

So soothing. I listen to this at night when I need to relax. It's also great to listen to on loop while writing. It comes from the movie Patema Inverted, another stellar movie and one that I can recommend. :) It's PG and only has one D word. Prepare to have your mind blown though! Me and my brother enjoy re-watching this movie yearly. Each time we catch something new, and it still hasn't lost all of it's original magic. And the music, again, is great. :)

Heard this recently on a voice competition audition (ha, say that ten times fast!). At first I thought it was nice, then I started listening to it more and fell in love.

Kimi Dattara (If It Was You)  by Happy Birthday

Japanese, I know. I personally love Japanese music, and could've put many more on this list, but this is probably my favorite. I don't entirely know what it all means, but it's almost prettier that way. Words without meaning are kind of cool, like it's just another instrument that doesn't add meaning, just some inflection to the tone of the song. Sorry that got really deep. . .

K, who doesn't love this song?! I originally heard it in Herbie Fully Loaded and it was love at first listen. I enjoy this song immensely and could listen to it on repeat for hours probably.

Someone You Loved  by Lewis Capaldi

Whilst a very beautiful song, I enjoy listening to covers simply as a voice preference. I like the Nicole Cross or Lauren Spencer-Smith covers slightly better, but don't complain when the original comes on the radio.

I Will Survive  by Gloria Gaynor

This. Is by far. The swankiest song ever. And I love it. Thank you 80s.

Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)  by Kelly Clarkson

Who didn't love this Kelly Clarkson hit? It was so catchy. It was on the radio once this last summer and it was like getting hit by a nostalgia brick.

A Summary Of My Interests & Favs.

    (So when I'm like 150 I can look back and be like, oh yeah! That was totally my jam! (But kids in those days probably won't use jam in expressions anymore)
   -My favorite movie is Star Wars, and always will be.
   -My fav. character is Mara Jade.
   -My 2nd fav. movie is How To Train Your Dragon (all of them in all their gloriousness)
   -I enjoy drawing, painting (I recently got into markers), crochet, stamp making, beading, and just got a drawer thing w/ wheels to hold all my artsy needs)
   -Music, obviously. I currently play guitar, piano, accordion, kalimba, ocarina (6 & 12 hole), shakers, cajon, and. . . I think that's it?
   -I enjoy reading & writing.
   -And costume/cosplay.

   So, I mean, that's about it. I think. I mean, yeah. . .

A Glimpse Into The Life Of A Not So Normal 7

I thought it might be fun to share a bit of what it's like to be an Enneagram 7 by telling you about my week! :)
For those of you who aren't familiar w/ 7s, here's a quick look at an average one:

So my past week started w/ a normal Sunday. Went to church, got ready for Monday.
Got gas on Monday, got ready for work, and hung out.
Worked all day Tues. & Wed., and did the children's group thing I do on Wed. nights. Now, at children's group, a 7 is alive, you see. I spent WAYYYYY too much energy.
Thurs. I worked all day (which is abnormal), and dropped by the church after to help with some Christmas decorations.
So then Fri. rolled around, and I was like: "I should get together w/ friends!" (My line of work doesn't involve much socializing, so doing things to socialize are important). So I ended up Christmas shopping all Friday evening and ate dinner out. When I got home I watched The Mandalorian:)

THEN, on Saturday, I went and saw Frozen II

w/ a different friend. I then came home, ate, changed into my giant Christmas sweater and pinned on battery-powered Christmas lights, and went to a Tree Lighting.
SO THEN TODAY!! (This Sunday). I went and got new shoes, and realized I was far too exhausted to do anything else.

SOOOOOOO.
The moral of this story is, 7s  can easily over extend themselves :)

So anyway, that's a bit what it's like to be a 7.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

With Christmas around the corner, I have changed the background and overall color scheme to match the season. I will probably do this each month now to match the various holidays throughout the year. So here's what it looks like in full:

1. How were you introduced to the MCU fandom?

    Oof, I'd always heard about Marvel stuff when I was little, and people used to ask me if I'd seen it, but my first exposure to one of the films was--I think--3 years ago. I went on a trip to Seattle and came back to find that my brother and dad had watched the first Avengers without me. So then they got Age of Ultron to watch, and my dad kindly explained EVERYTHING to me. Every character, and what their powers and stories were.
So Age of Ultron was my first exposure, then my dad made me and my brother go back and start at the beginning with the Hulk movies.

2. What's your favorite Marvel film?

    Thor. Hands down. And The Dark World. And Ragnarok, but for different reasons. I've been getting into Norse mythology because of it (and How To Train Your Dragon). I love the world and the character development in Thor. And the newest Spider-mans. They're much more lighthearted. Less dark. Just the way they light the scenes and add so much color. I don't like dark stuff (Dark as in the plot and the lighting). The middle Spider-mans were hard for me simply because it's always dark in every shot.

3. Top fav. Marvel character?

Thor and Spider-man. Do I have to explain? :) The new Spider-man, I should clarify. He's probably what I would be like if I were a super hero.

4. If you were transported into the MCU and had to trade places with one of the superheroes, who would you choose?

Thor. Whilst I love Spider-man, and my personality matches his, I would probably feel too powerless. Yeah, he's awesome, but webs have some problems against certain Marvel villains. Notice that Spider-man is usually put up against mutants or people with advanced technology. Whilst Thor fights people with "powers." Ya get it? I hope.

Holy cow this is lonnnnnggg.

5. What are some of your favorite quotes from the films?

(if you can't read it, it says: Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor)

6. Which crew would you want to be part of the most: Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, or Revengers?
    Guardians of the Galaxy. I haven't actually seen their movie, but I know enough. The 80's music has me sold.

7. Favorite and least favorite ship?
    Ooh that's tuff. . .
Favorite: the Titanic. I can't pick a least.

But assuming that we're using ship the way I think we are then:
Favorite. . . I don't know!!! I don't care!!! I guess Spider-man and MJ (Zendaya).
Least. . . I don't know.

8. Fav. and least fav. villain?
    Fav. has to be Loki.

   Least fav. that mutant lizard from the Amazing Spider-man reboot. Or the Green Goblin.

9. Unpopular MCU opinion?
    This is the tuff one. 'Cause I don't really know a ton of what the rest of world thinks. So don't freak out if what I say is a popular MCU opinion
-I don't like Infinity War or Endgame in the slightest. Though I did think Cap's ending was sweet. And I wasn't all that heartbroken over Tony's death. Sorry.

10. Fav. Stan Lee cameo scene?
   There's too many. . .

11. Which Avenger are you most like?
