Minecraft

Ah, Minecraft. A well beloved game that I never played as a kid. In fact, my first encounter with Minecraft came at church. I know. Church. We were playing a group game (I don't remember how it went), and there were certain things we had to guess. Minecraft was one of them. Now, I only heard them say Minecraft. I didn't know what it was and nobody explained it. So I thought they were saying Mindcraft. MIND-craft. And I was mortified.

SORCERY?! In Sunday school?! Na, I was just ignant (do other people say ignant? Or just my family?).
I don't know when I figured out that Minecraft wasn't Mindcraft, but I eventually did, and I remember seeing a friend playing once on her phone. She must have been in a cave 'cause I couldn't see what she was doing, but she told me it was Minecraft. And I remember being like, "Ah, so this is the Minecraft I've heard so much about."
Minecraft was officially introduced to me when I was probably 17 or 18. It was purchased for a Wisdom Teeth removal, and I had the opportunity to play.
And yeah, I enjoy it. I don't play video games a lot, I think there is better things to spend my energy on, but when I have no energy and I want to do something creative, Minecraft can be kinda nice. I now have Minecraft on my computer, and am on my 4th profile. I know, that sounds like a lot. But I didn't really finish the first 3. The first one isn't on my computer, so I never got to finish it. The 2nd I beat the Ender Dragon and called it a day after realizing how horrible the End is. 3rd, I got bored of 'cause I tried Large Biomes, and all I can see is mountains for days. Couldn't even find a desert, which is like, the most common biome. Then I just kept generating worlds until I found a spawn I liked. And BOOM! BuildingWorld2 was born ('cause I was running out of things to name profiles and I wanted a profile I could try the building techniques I was learning from my fav. Minecraft Youtuber: Fwhip).
I found a nice cove on the edge of a flower forest and boom. I began building my house.

Above is the start of my garden, I'm standing on the top of the side building pictured below, so the bamboo you see in the lower picture marks about where that stone water feature is.

Above is the start of my fishing house, below is an update on the garden.

This 2 are pictures inside the side building. It has 2 floors, and the bottom one leads into the enchanting room which you see below.

Below is a zoomed out view of my base, including the animal pens to the left, and designs I did on the outer island (the closer island in the picture, but I consider it outer from my house)

Above is my End portal, as you can see, not an Eye of Ender in any of the 12 holes. Rare, but characteristic of my bad luck. Below, one of the stronghold's library opened into a lava & water ravine. So that was cool.

Above is my village (for my villagers) from above.
In the top photo you can clearly see the Ender Dragon's bar is down to 0 (it's supposed to be more magenta instead of dark purple, thus it should be dead). Below you can see when I hit it one more time and it actually died (hence the advancement pop-up).

My first End City of the profile (above), and when I tried to grab the Elytra from the frame, I hit the wrong button and turned the Elytra at an angle instead of grabbing it. So that was anti-climatic.
Below is me End raiding. I lost my hat & pants.

So these 2 pictures show the outside & inside of my armory.

Above is my little house, in case I didn't want to run back from my village when it got dark. Below is a flower field I made, right now my player would be in that garden I showed earlier.

(Above) Check out this cool enchantment I got on my Netherite Hoe!

This is a side shot of my base, you can see my house & cove to the left, my garden & flower field mid-left, village mid-right, & my XP farm to the right (the big box thing, blue roof). The XP farm sucks by the way. Completely useless that darn thing. Next is going to be a lot of pictures of the various achievements I was working toward mixed with some pictures of my base. Some of them are out of order because blogger is difficult and I decided it wasn't worth the effort to try to fix them.

Is It A Plane is for viewing the Ender Dragon through a spyglass. It was added right after I killed that Ender Dragon the last time I needed to (facepalm). Real proud of the A Balanced Diet achievement where you have to eat everything that is edible in Minecraft. . . even if it's harmful to you.

Sniper Duel is for killing a skeleton from 50 meters away, I believe (50 blocks). Below was a beautiful shot of my base and my beacon's light from a distance.

My cat was sitting too close to this flower haha.

Somehow I hadn't gotten the Oh Shiny achievement sooner even though I'd traded before. Below was a pathway I was really proud of.

My first automatic farms are above, one for sugar cane the other for bamboo. Below shows my Withering Heights achievement for summoning a Wither.

Uneasy Alliance meant bringing a ghast from the nether into the overworld then killing it. That was rough, below is my millions of cauldron with the purpose of gathering snow to get the Light As A Rabbit achievement. It took. FOREVER.

Ignoring the sheer amount of times I change the game mode (for the purpose of speedy travel) and reset my respawn point, in the midst of my chat you can view my most proud achievement. A Complete Catalogue. I gathered all the different colors of cats, and that my friend, is not small feat. I worked on this one for a long time as I went. And by the end, I couldn't stand to be in my house because of all the mewing cats haha.

Thanks for tuning in. I have been busy as I started college this last fall and have found little time to blog, but I will post as I feel inspired to and try to keep up with some of the regular post like Christmas, new years, Star Wars day, and the cake posts when I have time.
